Our client is a 100% Canadian employee-owned civil engineering company.  They provide innovative and economic consulting services to private and public sector clients in Canada and internationally in the fields of civil (municipal) engineering and water resources management for a wide range of community growth related projects.

With strong technical and project management skills, you will lead a team of intermediate and junior designers, working on both urban and greenfield development projects in the GTA. You will guide the design of a project from inception, through the approval process, to its implementation. You will provide mentorship to the intermediate designers, helping foster their growth as design professionals.

Requirements

• Registered as a Professional Engineer or C.E.T., or eligible for registration;

• 5+ years experience in the land development industry;

• Experience as a design engineer, with extensive knowledge of engineering principles and guidelines for all elements of municipal design;

• Ability to manage multiple projects and clients;

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a collaborative mindset;

• Ability to prepare Functional Servicing Reports, as well as Stormwater Management calculations an asset;

• Prepare preliminary and detailed engineering design for land development projects (subdivision and site plan);

• Lead a team of junior/intermediate designers and draftspersons, and oversee the preparation of engineering drawings and functional design reports;

• Provide training and mentorship to junior team members;

• Work with clients and their consultants to ensure timely delivery of projects.
