Description
Our client is a 100% Canadian employee-owned civil engineering Company. They provide innovative and economic consulting services to private and public sector clients in Canada and internationally in the fields of civil (municipal) engineering and water resources management for a wide range of community growth related projects. Reporting to the Manager of Water Resources and Project Managers, the Water Resources Engineer will be responsible for the preparation of servicing and water resources related analyses for Master Plans, land development projects (e.g. subdivisions and site plans) during the draft plan and detailed design stages.
Due to growth and success, they have an immediate need for a Water Resources Engineer.
Qualifications:
P.Eng. License or CET in Ontario is required.
5 + years of Storm Water Management for Master Plans. Modeling experience in Vo and PCSWMM is must. Knowledge of regulations and guidelines is must.
Good understanding of engineering principles specially in storm water management Ability to review junior members’ reports.
Design and other subjects of water resources is an asset Utilize computer modeling software to complete hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, erosion and sediment control studies, floodplain mapping analyses, sanitary sewer capacity analyses, etc.
Support the Project Manager in meeting client needs and deadlines.
Excellent skill in working with GIS, Auto CAD and Ms. Excel, and other Ms.Office products
The English writing and oral skills should be at a Canadian burn and education level.
Responsibilities:
Prepare Functional Servicing and Stormwater Management Reports.
Utilize computer modeling software to complete hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, erosion and sediment control studies, floodplain mapping analyses, sanitary sewer capacity analyses, etc.
Work with Project Managers in meeting client needs and deadlines.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
